This is a Christmas present for all thief fans, from some of the hard working community members! Its been a busy year, but the Thief inspired Magic Gauntlet card game is finally out! If you wish you can download it immediately, or check the development thread at the TTLG forums. the package includes game + manual.
It took more than a year to reach this point for both Gadget2006 (or Agetian) – the project leader, and the whole team. The cast including redface and his amazing art, jtr7 providing lore consultation, Stath MIA making the manual and a ton of other suggestions, and Sithis, NathanGLPC and myself for testing suggestions and various other work on the project.
For those who don’t know what the Magic Gauntlet is (probably most), it is a Thief-themed Flash Card Game. No, not like a regular poker card game, but more in the lines of a collectible card game like Richard Garfield’s Magic: The Gathering. The players battles with the AI, each starting with a deck of cards and 20 points of life. Sound familiar, but this adventure is set in the Thief universe, with familiar characters and special abilities (and some not that familiar). So if you like collectible card games or simply are a Thief fan, don’t just think about it! Download and try it out!
